About Bella Vita Cucina

Founded in 2008, Bella Vita Cucina (Beautiful Life Kitchen) is a family owned and operated business. We pride ourselves in using only the freshest ingredients in all of our dishes. From our appetizers to our mains and desserts, we guarantee quality as well as an innovative approach to traditional Italian fare.

Our team is focused on providing each and every patron with an enjoyable dining experience.

With a variety of foods to choose from, Bella Vita Cucina has a signature dish for everyone. Please feel free to visit us from Wednesday to Friday for lunch or dinner, and Saturday and Sunday for dinner. To better accommodate your dining experience, reservations are recommended.

Meet the Chef

Filippo Rocca

Filippo Rocca is the proud owner and chef of Bella Vita Cucina. Originally from Calabria located in southern Italy, Filippo studied hotel, kitchen and restaurant management. From that point on, Filippo developed a passion for making fresh pastas, gnocchi and seafood dishes.

At the age of 19, Filippo immigrated to Canada with the hope of one day opening his own business specializing in Italian cuisine. His favourite dishes include rigatoni agli scampi (rigatoni tossed with scampi tails, flambéed with brandy and finished in a fresh tomato cream sauce) and grigliata mista di pesce (fresh swordfish, scallops, jumbo tiger shrimps and lobster tails grilled to perfection, drizzled with a salmoriglio sauce).
